Statuses
Your probably thinking what are these statuses and why are we talking about them here? Well that's because they are important and they effect everything an Inspector will do in WIngs besides logging in. Including the page that loads after logging in.
Statuses reflect the progress of a individual inspections progress through the MSFH program. Statuses also determine what can and can't be done to an Inspections data in WINGS. Statuses are very helpful to Inspectors as they provide a means to answer questions like: "How many inspection do I still need to call the homeowner on?" "How many Inspections have I done so far?" "How many homes do I havescheduled to inspect?"
For Inspectors it's a little easier because you don't have to deal with all the statuses.
After you log in you'll be presented with a screen like this:

It's called the Home Page and the Control Panel by DFS, but it's actually a search page. This page will display lists links to SRID's or individual SRID's
Notice that one of the columns is named "Status." all of the ones on this first default page are in "Assigned" Status. If none of the inspections that have been assigned to you are in Assigned status then this list will display a message saying the search returned 0 results or something similar.
Assigned status is the first stage of an inspection's progress that allows the Inspector to view it. All the statuses are below, with the ones viewable in dark green. Each inspection travels through these statuses one at a time. some status never apply to inspection, like suspended.

be sent to the state, but instead be corrected by the inspector.
- Inspectors may change data on inspections in this status.
- We will try to let you know whenever we reject an Inspection via e-mail and also let you know how to fix it. Since this approval/rejection is a manual process, we may miss one sometime. It's best if you check for inspections in this status daily.
- Click the Validate tab after completing changes. after a few moments it performs the vaildation. A button will appear labeled "submit" click that bad boy.
